About Martin J. Campbell

As a veteran of NYPD, a former member of the United States Army, and an accomplished Securityleader, I have administered security operations and advised leadership on security matters, threats, vulnerabilities, and various methodologies to create safe environments throughout my career. From leading investigations to drafting security plans, I have a demonstrated track-record of mitigating risks to staff and facilities. I am eager to blend these experiences and my pursuit of excellence as the  Director of Security at NYC Administration for Children’s Services.

I served with the New York Police Department for over 15 years. My first ten years were as a Police Officer and my next line of duty was as Sergeant at Counter Terrorism Bureau at the World Trade Center until 2021. In this role, I trained police officers, conducted risk assessments, and responded to incidents. Most recently, I launched a security firm, MJC Cyber Security, providing cyber security and physical security to businesses and commercial clients across the state.

In addition to my professional experiences, I hold a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Utica College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. I also hold a suite of certifications including conflict resolution, behavioral observation, and hostile surveillance detection.  I believe in the importance of leading by example and will continue to seek opportunities to further my growth as a security leader.
